Igor Aronov

I’m Igor Aronov, CFP®, and I’m the founder of FAR Financial, an advice-only financial planning firm based in Brooklyn, NY. Before becoming a financial planner, I spent nearly 30 years in design and technology—including 14 years co-running a creative studio. Through those years, I saw firsthand how confusing and overwhelming financial decisions could be, especially for freelancers, small business owners, and creative professionals like myself.

That experience inspired me to launch FAR Financial with a simple mission: to make financial planning clear, actionable, and human. I help people untangle their finances, reduce stress, and build lasting confidence in their decisions. My background as both a creative and an entrepreneur allows me to bring empathy, clarity, and real-world perspective to every client relationship.

Outside of my work with clients, I’m still drawn to photography, love music and travel, and enjoy life in Brooklyn with my family and our dog.

I believe financial planning isn’t about numbers. It’s about feeling confident in your decisions and calm about what’s ahead. I aim to create a space that’s clear, judgment-free, and genuinely collaborative.

My job is to take what feels scattered and design a plan that’s doable, flexible, and truly yours. Then I help you put it into action. I’ll be here when life changes course: whether it’s a job shift, a new business idea, or an unexpected expense so your plan can change with it.

I became a financial planner because I realized too many smart, capable people feel lost when it comes to money. My goal is to bring clarity and confidence where there’s often stress and uncertainty.
