About Me
I've worn quite a few hats in my career - stockbroker, small business owner, and teacher - all revolving around finance, investing, and helping others succeed. My path eventually led me to focus on retirement planning, where I earned my Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) designation. After years of managing investments, I saw a need for dedicated retirement advisors and decided to create this practice to put my knowledge and passion to work for clients. I offer flexible, low-friction support with no long-term commitments, allowing you to get the precise guidance you need without unnecessary complexity or binding agreements.
I understand that you want to be an active participant in shaping your financial future. I approach retirement planning by empowering you with knowledge and supporting your decision-making process. That's also why I offer only hourly consultations and project-based flat fees instead of charging a percentage of assets, as it lets me focus purely on being helpful without any conflicts of interest.
I love diving into details together and exploring creative solutions. Whether we're analyzing different strategies or thinking outside the box to tackle unique challenges, my job is to help light the way and explain the pros and cons - but you're always in the driver's seat when it comes to decisions about your future.
I'm originally from the Northeast but have lived throughout the US before finding my current home in the Pacific Northwest. As a mom of two working young adults, I know firsthand how life keeps evolving. My husband and I are always talking about different possibilities for our future, just like many of my clients. It really drives home for me how retirement planning isn't a one-and-done deal - it's an ongoing conversation that shifts as life unfolds. This journey helps clients evolve from simply having a retirement number in mind to having a comprehensive and personalized plan that adapts to their changing circumstances.
I'd love to help you develop your own retirement vision and be there to guide you along the way, wherever your path might lead.
